Thinh Ngoc Tran is the Senior Investment Officer of GGGI’s Green Investment Services, based in Viet Nam. Thinh has more than 10 years of experience involving in the capital market, specializing in project financing and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) transactions. He has advised numerous clients in debt structuring and equity investments in renewable energy, circular economy, and green finance.

Before joining GGGI in 2017, Thinh was the Valuation Manager at Ernst & Young, Transaction Advisory Services. In this position, he served as an independent advisor for equity valuation and advised his clients in M&A deals in various industries such as Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Transportation. His previous roles also included conducting financial modeling, commercial and financial due diligence, and independent audit of financial statements.

Thinh is the Certified Expert in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance, granted by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany). He holds a B.A. in Accounting & Auditing from the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University.

Thinh is also a CFA charterholder, accredited by CFA Institute (USA) and currently is a member of CFA society in Vietnam and Thailand.
