Tesfaye Desalegn Shibeshi is a Communications Assistant at the GGGI Ethiopia effective October 15,2021. He is incumbent to lead the communication, visibility, and brand positioning aspects of GGGI’s national-level actions. He is aspiring to contribute to and help achieve GGGI‘s overarching vision of ‘creating a resilient world of strong, inclusive and sustainable growth both at the national and global level.

Prior to GGGI, Tesfaye worked as a Communications Coordinator at the DFID/FCDO-funded, Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI)-contracted Land Investment for Transformation (LIFT) project. He has also worked as a communications specialist at multifaceted donor-funded projects of indigenous and international NGOs settings. In the media industry, he had worked as Senior News Reporter and Editor both at the Ethiopian News Agency and the Ethiopian Press Agency.

Tesfaye earned B.A Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the Addis Ababa University, and M.A in Sociology from IGNOU, India.
