Sharon Tubal is the Provincial Project Officer of the GGGI country programme on Green Growth and Climate Resilience in Papua New Guinea.
Sharon graduated with a Degree in Forestry in 2013 and has 6 years of experience working with an array of different private and government institutions. She collaborated with agencies like NBPOL, Dept. of Agriculture & Livestock, National Forest Authority, Conservation and Environment Protection Authority & Climate Change (BRCC & REDD+) including other funding Agencies like UNDP, ADB and ACIAR. When working with the East New Britain Provincial Administration she successfully implemented a project worth $300k working with the community in East New Britain to plant trees and raise awareness on Climate Change issues affecting Papua New Guinea.
Sharon has skills in Arc Map in GIS, and she is still developing other skills like Map info & Miradi to enhance project delivery.
