Richard Ndicunguye

Richard Ndicunguye is the District Technical Assistant for Green Urbanization and Green Growth.

Prior to joining GGGI, Richard has worked as an individual consultant for three years as an assistant urban planner and GIS professional on various urban development projects among which include the review of the Musanze Secondary City Master Plan and its detailed Physical Strategy; the Upgrading of Informal/Unplanned Settlement in Nyarugenge, the Elaboration of Detailed Physical Plan for Mugesera Lakeshores and the Elaboration of Local Urban Development Plans  and their Detailed Physical Strategies four distinctive Districts.

Richard has also contributed to the “National Land Tenure Regularization System in Rwanda” as a GIS Professional under the former Rwanda Natural Resources (RNRA) for one year. With four years of experience, He holds a master’s degree in Urban Management and Development, specialized in urban Strategies and Planning from the Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the National University of Rwanda (NUR).
