Paola Córdova

Environmental Engineer with nine years of experience in international organizations in policy and strategy development, project management, and resource mobilization for green investments. Experience working with different government departments, other international organizations, think tanks, and the private sector. Vast expertise in capacity building and networking.

Paola has a mixed professional background: she has worked within International Cooperations for the German Cooperation (GIZ) and the British Embassy in Peru, working on green growth projects with government counterparts. She also has experience working on the private sector, on Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and Supermercados Peruanos, one of the biggest retail companies in Peru, implementing Environmental Management Systems.

Her main contribution in GGGI Peru is to identify opportunities where her professional experience within both the private sector and international cooperation would have a broader vision in project development, thus achieving a greater impact in any of the projects that GGGI implements.

Paola studied Environmental Engineering in the National Agrarian University (UNALM) and has an specialization in Environmental and Quality Management.
