Nuri Sánchez

As the Administrative Assistant for the Mexico Program, Nuri supports the Team with operations enabling tasks such as daily administrative requirements, budget operation and monitoring, finance support by project, HR and procurement procedures, as well as events logistics.

Nuri has a political and social sciences education background, and more than 13 years of experience working in international affairs, focused on the water and sanitation field. In that time, she gathered experience in institutional liaison and cooperation, project management, capacity building, and events organization, collaborating with counterparts such as governmental entities from the local to the national level, international organizations, NGOs, and academy.

Before joining GGGI, Nuri worked with the Organization of American States (OAS), National Association of Water and Sanitation Utilities (ANEAS), and National Water Commission (CONAGUA) of Mexico.

Nuri holds a B.A. in International Relations from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and a Diploma in Management of Water Operators, also by UNAM.
