Mihwa Wi currently holds the role of Associate for the Office of Director-General at GGGI. In this role, she provides support to the front office of the Director-General, which is overseeing the following units: Governance, Partnerships, Communications, and Strategy.

Mihwa has more than 6 years of experience in the international development and cooperation sector, working with various organizations such as Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), ILO, IOM, and an NGO.

Her previous work focused on skills training for vulnerable/marginalized groups, employment and labour migration. In Nepal, she worked for a KOICA project on the establishment of a vocational training center at Kathmandu University, coordinating the implementation and monitoring process while working closely with the donor agency.

Mihwa holds a Master’s degree on International Development studies from the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
