Luciana Ludlow Paz

As Mexico’s Sustainable Landscape Officer, Luciana works with the federal and subnational government to ensure that GGGI provides robust and effective support towards achieving the national development goals related to sustainable landscapes in alignment with the country’s NDCs and its international commitments in favor of the environment and society, leaving no one behind.

Luciana has been involved in the international development field for over 14 years. Prior to joining GGGI, she worked in the public sector, as a consultant and in various international organizations related to rural communities’ natural resources dependency, climate change, REDD+, governance, integrated landscape management, gender equality and women’s empowerment, among other topics related to the productive conservation of nature, increase of socio-ecological systems resilience and safeguarding the well-being of people.

She holds a M.Sc. in Global Environmental Change from King’s College London (KCL) and a B.A. in International Relations from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and is fond of carpentry and running in her personal time.
