Eva Diaz Ugena

Eva Diaz Ugena, a Spanish national with over 25 years project management experience in the water, sanitation and climate fields, has joined GGGI Lao PDR as Deputy Country Representative.

Prior to joining GGGI Lao PDR, Eva worked with the GGGI Vanuatu office. In her new role, she supports the ongoing growth and enhancement of GGGI’s portfolio in Lao PDR, with a special focus on water resources and operational excellence, contributing to the Government of Lao PDR’s climate and green growth goals. Eva holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a master’s in integrated water management, and a Masters in Climate Change and Development. She has been working in development cooperation for the last 20 years in countries across Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East and the Pacific for both private and public sectors.
