Batzaya Bayasgalan is a Green Investment Officer based in Mongolia where she focuses on development of project pipeline and mobilization of climate finance with the objective to promote low-carbon, green growth.

Batzaya has over 10 years of experience in sustainable energy sector including in energy efficiency, renewable, green buildings, and natural resources. Her areas of financial expertise include project development and management, investment structuring, and PPPs. Prior to joining GGGI, she worked as an Analyst in the Natural Resources department of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Ulaanbaatar and London offices. She holds a master’s degree from the University College London.
