Ambolas Manalu is the Senior Joint Secretariat Associate for GGGI in Indonesia. Ambolas is responsible for managing the relationships of GGGI with the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) of the Republic of Indonesia and activities of the Green Growth Program joint secretariat. Prior to joining GGGI, he served the Government of Indonesia as a policy analyst in Bappenas, dealing with energy planning, regional development, renewable energy, energy conservation, and low-carbon development. His previous role was mainly about developing initiatives and policy papers and maintaining several joint programs between the ministry and development partners in the energy sector.

Ambolas holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
