GGGI signs MOU with Kathmandu University for technical collaboration in sanitation and beyond

NEPAL – On April 20, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Global Green Growth Institute and Kathmandu University to foster collaboration and cooperation on sanitation and climate change. The agreement was put in place as part of the Green Sanitation Services Program being implemented in Nepal by GGGI in coordination with the Ministry of Water Supply, and Kathmandu University’s newly established Global Sanitation Graduate School.

The 4-year MOU was signed by Mr. Rowan Fraser, Country Representative, GGGI and Prof. Manish Pokharel, Dean, School of Engineering, Kathmandu University. The MOU focuses on advancing research into sanitation, green growth, climate change and associated activities.
