Recognizing that the quality of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) will determine the strategic plan of all regional apparatus, GGGI was invited by the District Government of Pulang Pisau to facilitate the preparation of the technocratic document of RPJMD 2018-2023, which is expected to guide the government in carrying out development activities in Pulang Pisau for the next 5 years.

In this exercise, GGGI supported and facilitated the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) to ensure completion of the document according to the local rules and regulations. GGGI also helped ensure the document’s alignment and integration with the planning documents of all units of the regional apparatus organization. The Head of Bappeda Pulang Pisau, Ir. Juman, MM., recently expressed appreciation to GGGI during the Coaching Clinic of Technocratic Document and Strategic Plan Preparation on 18-19 July 2018 at Bappeda Office in Pulang Pisau.

This activity was part of a “coaching clinic” series, which had been conducted in Kapuas District on 21-22 May 2018 and in Katingan District on 16-17 July 2018, all supported and facilitated by GGGI. Similar with the Head of Bappeda Pulang pisau, the Heads of Bappeda Kapuas and Katingan also stated their appreciation to GGGI. They have high hopes that the coaching clinics will improve the capacity of the district for a better development planning process in the future.
