SEOUL, Republic of Korea; July 8, 2021 – GGGI President & Chair, H.E. Ban Ki-moon, officially launched his new book titled Resolved: Uniting Nations in a Divided World, a memoir highlighting stories and experiences recalled by H.E. Ban Ki-moon, as well as his philosophy for global citizenship. The book release event took place at the GGGI Seoul HQ and featured book commentary from the author, H.E. Ban Ki-moon.
“I hope my memoir Resolved, will spread my ideas and stories to a wide audience … I hope it will inspire possibility, spark action, improve cooperation, and ultimately, encourage people around the world to become global citizens,” shared H.E. Ban Ki-moon in his opening remarks.
During the commentary session of the event, Mr. Ban Ki-moon highlighted that “Now is the time for everyone to transcend our boundaries and act as global citizens … and make sure that we leave this planet earth to our succeeding generations sustainable, prosperous, and united.”
After the commentary, the event featured a Q&A discussion with H.E. Ban Ki-moon followed by a performance from Ms. Sue Son, Violinist from Britain’s Got Talent.
